West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville posted a heartfelt message on social media following speculation surrounding his future at the club.
West Ham have endured a difficult start to the Premier League, managing just one win so far, and already suffering elimination from the Carabao Cup
However, Summerville has impressed West Ham fans with his performances this season, despite the club’s overall struggles.
His time at the club has been marred by injuries ever since he arrived from Leeds United, and reports suggested that Nottingham Forest had targeted Summerville to replace Anthony Elanga.
But the winger reportedly had “no interest” in leaving the club, and remains focused on proving himself after what many considered an underwhelming first year.
Now, the winger posted on social media to address the supporters ahead of the side’s fixture against Crystal Palace on 20 September.

His West Ham teammates showed support with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Dinos Mavropanos also leaving a like on the post.
Summerville confirmed he had undergone surgery back in April, which sidelined him for the rest of the campaign as he began a lengthy recovery process ahead of this season.
He made just 22 appearances for the Hammers, registering only one goal and two assists in his debut campaign before undergoing surgery following multiple injuries.
Now, the winger has continued to work on the training pitch and will be determined to keep his place in the starting XI despite West Ham’s recent defeat to Tottenham.

However, Football Insider revealed West Ham will stick with Potter for the time being and remain patient with the former Chelsea boss.
Despite discontent with the fans and the likes of Jose Mourinho and Kieran McKenna linked with the role, the board are backing the Englishman to turn results around, even as discontent continues to grow amongst the supporters.
