Glen Johnson has explained why Moises Caicedo may face a challenge if he were to move clubs amid links with Liverpool. The been frequently credited with an interest in the Brighton midfielder over the last few months. Chelsea have also been heavily linked with a move for Caicedo during the January transfer window. Reports on Tuesday claimed that Brighton would demand a fee of at least £100m in order to part company with Caicedo this month. Despite this, the Ecuador international is still being linked with the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
Former Reds defender Johnson believes that, while Caicedo has impressed while at Brighton, he may find it tough to deal with the “pressure” of a move to a club such as Liverpool.
“However, the spotlight does change when you move to bigger clubs like Liverpool or Chelsea.
