Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has posted on that Arsenal need ‘more than ever’ to win the Premier League title after news broke that he could be out of action for ‘several weeks’. The Arsenal centre-back hobbled off in the first half of his side’s marathon and drama-filled Europa League last-16 defeat to Sporting Lisbon on Thursday night. Well, because this could also favour Liverpool after the international break.

The one big positive is that the international break is around the corner, so it will allow Saliba the chance to rest and recover for the absolute crunch games for Mikel Arteta’s side.



“Hopefully, the international break will help him get back as soon as possible because Arsenal really need him, more than ever, to win the Premier League title,” said Enrique



When Arteta first walked through the doors, he walked into a mess and one of the club’s biggest problems was their brittle, error-prone and unreliable defence.
