Aston Villa players shared a reaction on social media to Matty Cash’s recent message after his brilliant goal for Poland.

Aston Villa have had a miserable start to the season, with Unai Emery’s side failing to win any of the first three games of the campaign as they sit 19th.

Cash has also struggled to find form for Villa with his performances, with questions lingering over his future during the summer transfer window

Football Insider revealed that Aston Villa were open to selling Cash this summer, with former club Nottingham Forest showing interest, but a move didn’t materialise.

International break may have come at the right time for the right-back, and his latest performance for Poland has saw plenty of reaction following his stunning goal against the Netherlands.

Cash rescued a point for Poland in the World Cup qualifiers against the Netherlands, after he hit a fantastic strike to equalise.

He posted on Instagram following his goal and captioned his post with: “Dejavoo!!

Their next qualifier comes on 7 September against Finland before the international break resumes in October.

Despite Cash’s poor form for Aston Villa, the right-back continues to have an influential role for his national team in a crucial qualifying campaign.

While Cash stayed put at Villa Park beyond the deadline, Villa were active on the final day, as they signed Jadon Sancho on loan.

Despite not making an appearance yet, Football Insider revealed Aston Villa will consider making Sancho’s loan move permanent if he can make an instant impact.

With just one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, several clubs are set to keep an eye on his performances, but Villa also want to be at the front of the queue if he can perform at the top level.
