Nottingham Forest players shared their reaction as the club secured another signing in what has already been a hectic summer window.
Nottingham Forest kicked off their Premier League campaign in style with a 3-1 victory over Brentford, with new arrival Dan Ndoye making an instant impression on his debut.
Nuno Espirito Santo guided the side to a seventh-place finish last season, earning them a spot in the Europa League – a significant step forward in the club’s resurgence.
In preparation, the club have invested heavily to strengthen their squad depth, Forest sealed deals for James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson and Ndoye, among others.
Now, as part of their continued rebuild, the club have completed yet another attacking addition, underlining their intent to compete strongly on both domestic and European fronts this season.
McAtee completed a deal to sign for Nottingham Forest on 16 August.

Nottingham Forest confirmed the arrival of Arnaud Kalimuendo on their official Instagram channel after winning the race for his signature.
The announcement was shared with the caption: “Arnaud Kalimuendo is a Red!”.
Ola Aina, Murillo, and new arrivals including Hutchinson and Ndoye, who all liked with the post to welcome the striker.

Brentford had also shown interest in Kalimuendo, but the Frenchman opted for Forest and is expected to be included in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad for their clash with Crystal Palace on 24 August.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a prolific campaign with Rennes last season, scoring 18 goals in 34 appearances as the French side finished mid-table in Ligue 1.
He now joins former Botafogo striker Igor Jesus in competing with Chris Wood for a starting spot, giving Forest much-needed depth in attack ahead of a demanding season across league and Europe.

Forest’s spending spree has already surpassed £140 million across seven signings this summer, but the club are not slowing down.
Football Insider revealed Forest are closing in on a deal for Douglas Luiz following a fresh round of talks with Juventus on 17 August.
The former Aston Villa midfielder is understood to be eager for a return to the Premier League after a frustrating season in Serie A, and Forest are pushing to make it happen.
West Ham, Everton and Manchester United have also explored moves for Luiz, but Forest appear to be the frontrunners after moving swiftly in negotiations.
