It has been a busy few days of news for Liverpool’s talismanic forward Mohamed Salah.
The sight of Salah arguing on the touchline with Jurgen Klopp on Saturday was a particularly sad one and has obviously dominated headlines.
With Liverpool’s season falling apart and with Klopp on the way out, this was never how any of it was supposed to end this year.

Prior to that incident, the expectation had been that Salah would depart Anfield along with his manager this summer.
And the transfer guru has claimed to have heard something ‘quite different’ to the general perception.

It really was not a good look for Salah on Saturday.
Speaking on The Daily Football Briefing from The Athletic, Ornstein says that his information is now that Salah is ‘fully committed’ to life at Anfield.

“And it’s that Salah has expressed absolutely no intention to depart.
They’ll start off the Arne Slot era with their Egyptian King after all.
With Slot employing slightly different tactics to Klopp, we think the Dutchman could look to play Salah more centrally.
This could accentuate Mo’s footballing brain rather than relying on his slightly declining pace from wide.
With an attacking midfielder – maybe Alexis Mac Allister – in behind him and two pacy forwards supporting from wide, it’s exciting to see where Salah will ‘slot’ in.
