Thomas Tuchel may be inclined to give Djed Spence a first England start against Serbia following Myles Lewis-Skelly’s performance against Andorra.
Lewis-Skelly was making his first start of the season after only being coming off the bench against Leeds in Arsenal’s opening matches of the season.

Lewis-Skelly played the entire 90 minutes, but was not replaced despite a poor audition for next summer’s World Cup against Andorra.
Despite England having over 80% possession, Lewis-Skelly didn’t create a chance for his team mates, didn’t complete a successful dribble and was ineffective as an attacking threat.

Following Lewis-Skelly’s out of sorts display against Andorra, Tuchel may turn to Tottenham‘s Spence against Serbia.
The 25-year-old can play either left-back or right-back in defence and should be looked at by Tuchel ahead of the World Cup.
Lewis-Skelly shone against Albania in his first England start, and Tuchel clearly trusts the 18-year-old.
Left-back though is one area still up for grabs in the England team as Lewis-Skelly is currently not getting the game time at club level.
Spence meanwhile has cemented a position in the Spurs defence and has played 90 minutes in all of their opening matches this campaign.
