Momentum is gathering pace for two Liverpool attackers to head to Serie A this summer.

The club are growing hopefully that they will soon offload two attackers who can make way to raise funds for further additions for Arne Slot.

With Frimpong already becoming Liverpool’s first summer signing, and Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez on the verge of being the next two signings, it won’t just be one way traffic for Liverpool this summer.

The potential arrival of Milos Kerkez will take Liverpool’s spending this summer over £190m, so the club will need to also sell players to balance the books.

According to reports in Italy, Napoli are preparing a sensational double swoop for two attackers who are currently deemed as surplus to requirements at Liverpool.

La Repubblica have stated that a possible move to bring the pair to Napoli is gathering pace with the Serie A champions eager to build on their success from last season.

The report revealed that the two Liverpool strikers are concrete targets for the Italian champions and contacts between both parties are frequent.

Liverpool are reportedly seeking £90m as the combined fee to let both leave this summer.

Arne Slot will not stand in the way if either player wishes to move, and a reported offer could arrive next week.

Fabrizio Romano has previously revealed on X Federico Chiesa’s desire to leave Liverpool after just one season in England as he looks for regular playing time.

He is the more likely departure, as Liverpool’s valuation of Darwin Nunez at £70m could potentially put off suitors.

However, Antonio Conte is said to be ‘raving’ for the signing of Darwin Nunez, as Napoli look set to strengthen in multiple areas this summer.

Interest does remain from Saudi Arabia for Darwin Nunez but the Uruguayan has opted to stay in Europe and compete in the top leagues.

It remains to be seen if Napoli can afford to buy both players, but it is seen as a destination that has interested the pair.
