Nathan Ake could follow Jack Grealish in joining Everton from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Pep Guardiola has had a busy summer, as Man City have signed players like James Trafford and former Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.
As well as signing new talent, the North West club have also facilitated the departures of stars such as Grealish and James McAtee.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have handed a new contract to Ruben Dias, who featured in their victory over Wolves on the Premier League’s opening weekend.

While Pep Guardiola’s men endured a relatively unsuccessful Premier League season last term, Ake made just 10 top-flight appearances.
The defender was an unused substitute when Manchester City beat Wolves 4-0 on Saturday, 16 August, thanks to Erling Haaland’s brace and goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki.
Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail on Thursday 21 August, Everton are interested in signing Ake, as David Moyes looks to further bolster his squad.

Moyes helped steer Everton to a comfortable mid-table finish in the Premier League last term, despite inheriting a side that looked destined for a relegation battle last January.

However, the Toffees looked poor when they were beaten 1-0 by newly promoted Leeds United on Monday, 18 August, thanks to Lukas Nmecha’s late penalty.
Everton’s defeat in West Yorkshire suggests that a difficult season could lie ahead for the Merseyside club, unless Moyes can turn matters around relatively swiftly.
One signing who could help turn the North West side’s fortunes around is Ake, who has won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Carabao Cup, and the FA Cup with Manchester City.
Ake is a talented centre-back who is also comfortable in a fullback role, while his versatility could prove vital for Everton as they look to progress in the top flight.
Meanwhile, former Toffees scout Bryan King has backed Moyes’ men to sign Jamie Vardy in a Goodison News exclusive.
