Jurgen Klopp holds back no punches as Liverpool draw against Fulham As per Metro, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was not happy with his players’ performance during the 2-2 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage in their opening Premier League game of the 2022/23 campaign.

When asked about what went wrong in the game, Klopp wasn’t too complimentary about his team’s attitude, especially in the early parts of the game.

While they improved in the second half it was not enough to win the game.

Just 13 minutes after coming on in the second half, league debutant Darwin Nunez scored with a cheeky finish to equalise for Liverpool.

Despite both Fulham goals having some degree of controversy (Jordan Henderson getting fouled in the build-up to the first goal and Aleksandr Mitrovic falling down too easily to win the penalty for the second), the Reds’ manager did not blame the referee for any of the decisions.

With that goal, the Egyptian equalled a Premier League record for the number of goals on the first day of a season.

Liverpool were not done though and Mohamed Salah latched onto a loose ball after a touch from Nunez to calmly slot the ball home.
