Gary Neville celebrated Manchester United going top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Burnley by aiming a dig at rivals Liverpool.

Neville was covering the game for Sky Sports and posted a video on social media after the win showing him humming the 'Gary Neville is a Red' song which United supporters used to chant when he was playing.

"Liverpool, the best team in the league last season by a stretch, and I think probably eight weeks ago, everybody’s absolute certainties to win this league.

A goal from Paul Pogba earned United all three points and saw them leapfrog Liverpool ahead of a crunch clash between the two sides at Anfield.

The song is sung to the tune of 'London Bridge is Falling Down' and the lyrics go "Gary Neville is a red, he hates Scousers".

"Liverpool look strong and now Manchester United, who looked dead seven or eight weeks ago.

It’s been a really difficult few years and at times it’s looked like Manchester United are a millions miles away from the top of the league.
