Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign promising Italian midfielder Giovanni Leoni from Serie A side Parma.

Now the Athletic have confirmed that Leoni arrived is expected to arrive at Liverpool later this Thursday and will undergo series of medical evaluations at the AXA Training Centre

Barring any unexpected complications, he is set to complete the formalities and be announced on Friday.
