Armin Pecsi has expressed his astonishment at Liverpool's interest in signing him, a move that was finalized on Saturday.

"They see a long-term project that they outlined for me
I talked to them about the project, about what the goals might be in terms of development or even moving forward later.
"This was the first meeting and everything will depend on the speed of my development."
He continued: "It's hard to say this is one sentence because so many matches are analysed in so many different ways.

"We were of the opinion that this should definitely be tried, so I hope that only good things will come out of it.
"So, that's definitely my goal, and I want to show them that they chose the right person for the job."
