Liverpool have had a busy summer in terms of both incomings and outgoings, and could yet sanction a 12th exit before the window closes on September 1.

The Reds have brought in a flurry of fresh talent, including the likes of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, but they have also made some significant sales.

Although there are yet to be any concrete links, the latest rumours from Greece suggest a possible exit route for the 29-year-old.

The defender last signed an extension with Liverpool in September 2023, with his current deal set to expire in 2027.

He has not been included in the matchday squad for the Reds’ opening two competitive fixtures - the Community Shield and the Premier League win over Bournemouth - amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future.

Tsimikas has been linked with Nottingham Forest, and although initial reports suggested he preferred not to return to Greece, recent speculation indicates that possibility can no longer be ruled out.

The report notes that negotiations with Forest are not progressing, and the current options on the table from elsewhere in Europe are underwhelming and a move back to Greece could happen.
