Young Talents

One to watch this season is 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha, who featured against Accrington Stanley for the Reds in last season’s FA Cup after signing from Chelsea and became the youngest player to ever feature in the competition.

He faces obvious competition for minutes with Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz already in a heated bout for the left-wing spo,t but could feature in Liverpool’s pre-season tour.

Another youngster who will be given the chance to impress is James McConnell.

It should be an exciting pre-season for Liverpool fans with the rumour mill still in full swing.
