Liverpool are enjoying a fantastic start to the transfer window and are well on their way to securing three important deals already.
Jeremie Frimpong’s addition represented an excellent start for the Reds, while the capture of Florian Wirtz on Friday has clearly signalled that Liverpool mean business.
Milos Kerkez is set to join Liverpool next week, meaning Arne Slot will have his new trio available from the first day of pre-season.
But Liverpool are not done there, and as the Reds scour the market for a new centre-back and a central striker, Saturday has brought yet more fascinating stories.

After tying up the addition of Wirtz, Liverpool’s next big signing looks likely to be in the striking department.
And while journalist Fabrizio Romano played down talk of Alexander Isak joining, there were further links to Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen.
According to reports coming out of Italy, Liverpool are pursuing a swap deal for Osimhen, with either Federico Chiesa, Darwin Nunez, or both heading the other way.
However, it has been claimed that Napoli have little interest in accepting such a proposal and are holding out for their £64m valuation of Osimhen.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
As well as a striker, it is clear that Liverpool will target a new centre-back between now and September.
There are various options for the Reds, with Virgil van Dijk reportedly giving a glowing endorsement of Jorrel Hato for Liverpool to think about.

But as well as Hato, Castello Lukeba was put forward as a possible target by journalist Lewis Steele on Saturday.
The RB Leipzig defender has a reported £74m release clause in his contract and would not come cheap.
But Liverpool are claimed to have been scouting plenty of Leipzig games and could make their move for Lukeba.

In addition to a centre-back and centre-forward, there is a chance Liverpool target a new midfielder this summer.
While it may not be a priority position, there is a feeling that the Reds could move if the right opportunity becomes available.
That could potentially come in the shape of PSG midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, who journalist Graeme Bailey exclusively told Rousing The Kop has been the subject of attention from Liverpool.
Bailey says Liverpool have been in touch with PSG over Zaire-Emery, and could make a play for the 19-year-old if he comes onto the market.
For now, however, the chances of a transfer taking place are said to be slim.
In other business, reports have claimed Wrexham want to sign left-back Owen Beck, while the Reds have also been told why Marc Guehi would be ideal to partner Van Dijk in defence.
