Newcastle United and their search for a new striker continues as they scramble for an Alexander Isak replacement.
Manager Eddie Howe is holding firm in his stance on Alexander Isak, who is expected to miss this weekend’s Sela Cup matches against Espanyol and Atletico Madrid.
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany has reported that Newcastle have opened talks with Juventus striker Randal Kolo Muani as they continue to search for Alexander Isak’s successor:
“Newcastle United have opened negotiations with Randal Kolo Muani,” reported the German journalist.
“The 26 y/o is now high on Newcastle’s shortlist after their move for Benjamin Sesko fell through.”
