Newcastle United began their new Premier League season today with a trip to Villa Park.

The game ended 0-0 and many will feel that the score-line could’ve been different with Alexander Isak on the pitch.

The Magpies were comfortably the better team in the game, but they could not find that clinical edge to convert their chances.

Their star striker who saved them so many times last season is currently embroiled in the transfer saga of the summer.

Following the game today, Craig Hope revealed that Alexander Isak is set to be given a club-record fine because of his actions.

No other way to dress it up… with Isak, they win.”

“The club-record fine set to come his way won’t feel like nearly enough given the value of a PL win.”

Worrying times at Newcastle, as you feel as if this situation could reach a crunch point very soon.

Two or so weeks left of the transfer window, there is still a lot that can happen, and if Alexander Isak decides to continue to sit out Premier League games for Newcastle United, tensions will only rise.
