On Friday, Slovenian outlet Delo.si reported that Sesko has made his decision and will join Newcastle.

They claim the RB Leipzig striker has “decided to join Newcastle United.”

All signs now point to Newcastle completing the deal shortly.

And once it’s official, Liverpool will be ready.

It may be a huge fee.

But if Newcastle land Sesko as planned, they may be ready to cash in on Isak.

Liverpool are in position.

Now it’s just about timing.

The deal on the table includes an immediate £80 million payment, followed by a second installment of £50 million next year, and a further £10 million in performance-based add-ons.

They see Isak as a long-term piece and are pushing hard to get ahead of any late-window competition.
