Alexander Isak’s potential transfer to Liverpool has been the thing that’s dominated headlines over the last few weeks.
It’s clear that both the striker and Liverpool want the move to go through, but with less than 10 days left of the transfer window, the time for a deal to be struck is running out.
One of the main reasons that Newcastle have been reluctant to sell Isak is that they haven’t managed to source a replacement for the Sweden international.
The tides seem to have turned at St James’ Park over the last couple of days, as a new report from Craig Hope outlines that Eddie Howe’s men may actually be willing to sell Isak before the deadline strikes.
