Newcastle United could make more transfer deadline day signings after agreeing a deal with Brentford for Yoane Wissa.
On Monday, 1 September, Newcastle agreed terms with Brentford to sign Wissa, who excelled in the Premier League for the Bees.
Last season, the striker notched a strong return of 19 goals and four assists in 35 top-flight outings for Brentford, and should be a good asset for the Magpies.
Contrastingly, Alexander Isak is set to join Liverpool from Newcastle, having fired the North East side to Carabao Cup glory last term.

As well as acquiring Wissa from Brentford, Newcastle have also signed striker Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart.
The 23-year-old scored 17 goals for the Bundesliga club last season, before performing well for Germany in the Under-21 European Championships.
Meanwhile, the i Paper’s Northern Football Correspondent, Mark Douglas, reported via X on 1 September: “Yoane Wissa now at NUFC training ground for medical after deal agreed!
