Newcastle United could let youngster Trevan Sanusi leave the North East club on loan before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Eddie Howe’s main concern before 1 September is still the fact that Liverpool transfer target Alexander Isak is refusing to play for the Magpies.
However, the Newcastle boss still has to take care of the futures of his young players before the window shuts.
Sanusi has made one senior appearance for Howe’s men, which came when they beat Bromley 3-1 in the FA Cup last season.

Amid Liverpool’s advances for Isak, Newcastle have targeted Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The 25-year-old notched 14 goals and four assists in 35 Premier League outings for the Molineux side last term, and could prove his worth in the North East.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports‘ Transfer Centre [4.13pm, 28 August], revealed: “Newcastle youngster Trevan Sanusi is attracting interest from French clubs Auxerre and Le Havre.

Meanwhile, although Sanusi has already featured for Howe’s men at senior level, the winger is unlikely to enjoy regular playing time in the North East amid tough competition.
Howe already benefits from the services of talented wide players like Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes, and summer acquisition Anthony Elanga.
Therefore, the 18-year-old would be best served by leaving St James’ Park in a loan move this summer, amid the interest from French top-flight duo Auxerre and Le Havre.
Ligue 1 has proven to be a good division for nurturing young talent in recent seasons, as England international Angel Gomes enjoyed significantly more playing opportunities after leaving Manchester United to join Lille in 2020.
Sanusi could return to the North East as a better player at the end of the season, should he join either Auxerre or Le Havre this summer.
