Even after a Premier League title win and some exciting transfer business, Liverpool supporters aren't sated.

All signs point to a thrilling future too.

Liverpool secured Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah on contract extensions for the next two years, while Jeremie Frimpong has arrived already to fill the gap left by the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds have also agreed a £116 million - £100 million up front and £16 million in add-ons - deal with Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz.

Talks are also ongoing over the transfer of Milos Kerkez from AFC Bournemouth.

While Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez will represent significant signings for Liverpool - and a summer outlay in the region of £170 million - it is anticipated more business will be done.

Andy Robertson is a target for Atletico Madrid, while Barcelona continue to be linked with Luis Diaz.

And in a poll conducted by the ECHO, supporters made it clear that they want to see a new centre-forward come in next as a priority.

Of the 16,000 votes, 55 per cent picked the centre-forward position as Liverpool's next transfer need after Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez.

The next popular pick was full-back, which took 19 per cent of the vote.

Attacking midfielder was next, with 12 per cent of supporters opting for that.

Fans seem to think Liverpool are well stocked in other areas.

Only eight per cent picked centre-back, while defensive midfielder and winger took five per cent and one per cent of the share respectively.

After the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia - a deal that was agreed last summer - zero per cent of those polled picked goalkeeper as their next priority.

Liverpool have been tentatively linked with a number of strikers this summer, although the deals would be difficult to do for different reasons.
