Nicolas Jackson’s agent has provided a new update on the Senegalese’s loan controversy after getting half way through the move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich.
After much debate over where the Chelsea number 15 would go, the 24-year-old caught a plane to Munich to complete his big-money loan-to-buy move to the Bavarian giants.
Football Insider reported on 25 August that Bayern Munich were in talks to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea, and after an agreement was reached the weeks-long speculation around him looked over.
However, after Liam Delap suffered an injury in Chelsea’s victory against Fulham, the Blues are short up front for strikers, reportedly calling Jackson back once he touched down in Germany.
This has caused a major earthquake in the transfer saga as the seemingly unwanted man is now being begged to come back by the west London side, with the Senegalese’s agent giving a key message.

Chelsea made a major U-turn on their decision to loan Jackson after also selling Christopher Nkunku to AC Milan, and the 24-year-old is reportedly “furious” with his parent club’s actions, according to The Standard (30 August).

Football Insider verdict
After being casted out from the Blues fold, the 24-year-old finally had a reason to be excited after Harry Kane’s team swooped in to bring the forward to the Allianz Arena.
Imagine getting on a plane and landing in your new home for the season and your parent club calling you up to say “sorry, time to come home, plans have changed”.
This must be a hammer-blow for Jackson as he desperately seeks regular football after Chelsea brought in Joao Pedro and Delap.

Being pushed to the side, the ex-Villarreal striker will be disgusted with being asked to come home after being promised a new start in a new country.
How this will play out is yet to be seen, but the forward’s agent appears to be adamant on staying in Munich.
Especially with a World Cup coming up with Senegal hoping to feature, the number 15 is risking it all to get some much needed minutes and, after how he was treated, does not owe the west London club anything.
