Thomas Tuchel oversaw a far more convincing victory as England beat Serbia to move further clear at the top of Group K.
Elliot Anderson was Man of the Match against Andorra, and the Nottingham Forest star was instrumental yet again as the Three Lions put five goals past a toothless Serbia on Tuesday, 9 September.
Though he was not on the scoresheet, his dominance allowed for control in the middle of the park before Harry Kane headed home Declan Rice’s corner after 33 minutes.
Noni Madueke added a second two minutes later, and with Bukayo Saka picking up an injury at Arsenal, he has taken the opportunity in his stride.
Centre-back duo Marc Guehi and Ezri Konsa then added to the scoresheet before Marcus Rashford fired home a late penalty to make it 5-0 on the night.
Jordan Pickford – 6
Very little for the Everton shot-stopper to do.
Maybe it will add more millions to his price tag.
Ezri Konsa – 8
Just like Guehi, Konsa got himself on the scoresheet from a set-piece situation.
Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet against Andorra, and he made sure that changed.
Morgan Rogers – 8
Went under the radar a little due to those around him, but had some very smart movements and created a handful of chances for his teammates to feed off.
Anthony Gordon (Off for Rashford 68?) – 3
A disappointing night for the winger because, despite being a goal threat, he wasted some good chances, picked up a silly booking, and lost far too many duels.
Harry Kane (Off for Watkins 76?) – 7
Got yet another goal in England colours, benefitting from Rice’s corner.
A bit of a disappointing cameo.
Marcus Rashford (On for Gordon 68?) – 7
The Man United loanee got himself on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.
Looked bright after coming on.
Ollie Watkins (On for Kane 78?) – 7
Nearly got himself on the scoresheet, but after wandering offside, it was quickly ruled out.
Jarrod Bowen (On for Madueke 76?) – 6
Brought a bright spark to the pitch after coming on, quickly creating a chance and adding some pace to the attack.
Jordan Henderson (On for Rice 81?) – 6
A solid display for the final 10 minutes.
