Conor Bradley’s 2023/24 season at Liverpool has marked his breakout as a significant talent within a squad rich with talent.
Bradley spent last season on loan with League One side Bolton, where he hugely impressed and made 50 appearances while contributing a staggering 7 goals and 6 assists from right-back.
The Northern Ireland international was voted Young Player, Player’s Player and the overall Player of the Season by Bolton for his remarkable season.
Disaster struck when it became clear that Liverpool were going to have to endure a period without Trent Alexander-Arnold after the vice-captain picked up a knee injury.
There was concern that the Reds would struggle without such an influential player, but Bradley more than stepped up to the plate from the turn of the year.
It was only on the 21st of January that he made his Premier League debut away to Bournemouth during Liverpool’s 4-0 victory on the south coast.
He followed that up 10 days later with his first senior goal against Chelsea at Anfield, which saw him win the PFA Fans’ POTM and the Liverpool POTM for January.
Bradley then played his part in the Carabao Cup final last month and helped win his first ever trophy for Liverpool – an outstanding achievement for someone so young.
Bradley has seized every opportunity given by Jurgen Klopp, showcasing his versatility and composure across different games and competitions.
Stuart Dallas heaps praise on Conor Bradley
Stuart Dallas, who made over 250 appearances for Leeds United, has been heaping praise on his compatriot after Bradley’s breakthrough into the first team.
“His life has changed in the past year because he was on loan at Bolton and did really well, now he’s been given his chance at Liverpool and he’s never looked back,” Dallas began to the Belfast News Letter.
“He’s probably been one of their best players since coming into the team.”
“I’m delighted for Conor because he’s a good lad, and I’m sure when you speak to anybody they all say the same thing that he wants to learn, and working with a manager like he has at Liverpool and the players around him the mentality he brings to the group is incredible.”

He’s obviously had a difficult period over the last few months?
He’s done really well and the sky’s the limit for him.”
“He can go on to bigger and better things as well because he has his head screwed on and he’s down to earth as well.”
Dallas, who unfortunately had to retire early due to a knee injury, has given us yet another anecdote that highlights Conor Bradely’s willingness to learn and his humility.
For now, the 20-year-old will have to watch from the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury in Liverpool’s defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace.
The right-back could yet make a return to action before the end of the season.
