Norwich City are reportedly set to set their sights on signing one Liverpool player after their latest transfer.

The Canaries are expected to compete for Premier League promotion next season, and so they are already making moves to strengthen their squad this summer.

And one Liverpool player is seen as a potential summer signing ahead of next season.

Several of the Reds’ current stars are subject to interest from other clubs.

The likes of Luis Diaz, Drawin Nunez and Federico Chiesa are attracting serious interest from other clubs.

As it stands, it looks like two or all three of these attackers will depart Liverpool this summer.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona want Diaz, while Napoli are said to be eager to agree a deal for Nunez.

Elsewhere, while interest in Chiesa has cooled, there remains a desire on his part to leave Anfield this summer, and several Serie A clubs are said to be willing to take him.

If Liverpool were to sell one or two of their wingers, there would be a need for replacements.

The club can look to get a new signing or promote one of the youngsters to the first team.

Several options are available in the club’s academy, including Rio Ngumoha and Ben Doak, who enjoyed a strong loan spell at Middlesbrough last season.

Another young player, who could potentially move up to the first team as a replacement for either Diaz or Chiesa, is Lewis Koumas.

However, it appears his future lies away from Liverpool, with Championship side Norwich City said to be keen on him.

“Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas is one of a number of options being considered by Norwich City in their hunt for new wingers,” a recent report in the Pink Un reads.

The Eastern Daily Press have now provided even more update on Norwich City’s interest in Koumas, revealing that the Championship side are likely to make a move for the 19-year-old after agreeing a deal to sign Mathias Kvistgaarden.

According to the report, the Canaries desire to sign two wingers?

So having agreed a deal to sign the Kvistgaarden, they could move for Koumas on loan.

“Kvistgaarden is seen as an option both on the left and through the middle, and is expected to arrive as the first of two wingers this summer,” the report noted.

“The other is likely to be a Premier League loanee, with Liverpool’s Lewis Koumas among the players considered.”

The versatile attacker played 49 times in total for Stoke City last season, scoring six goals for the Potters and notching three assists during his loan spell at the club.
