Championship sides Norwich City and Sheffield United are reportedly keen to some shopping on Merseyside this simmer according to reports.
Liverpool are expected to shift their focus to player departures after securing priority signings Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez.
Darwin Núñez is reportedly keen on a move to Napoli, with talks ongoing over a transfer valued at over €50m.
Federico Chiesa, who made little impression in 14 appearances, is set to return to Serie A, with AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus all interested in the winger, whose market value is estimated at around €15 million.
But there also some less familiar faces on the move.
Fan favorite Nat Phillips has completed a permanent transfer to West Bromwich Albion, signing a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee after making just 19 Premier League appearances during his nine years at Anfield.
Another squad player, Tyler Morton, is also likely to leave, with West Ham now expressing interest in the midfielder.
And according to reports, now Norwich City have joined Sheffield United in the race to secure Liverpool forward Lewis Koumas on loan ahead of the 2025/26 season.
During his most recent loan spell at Stoke City last term, Koumas featured in 49 games across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
His performances under manager Alex Neil helped Stoke maintain their Championship status.
Koumas first burst onto the senior scene for Liverpool in the fifth round of the 2023/24 Emirates FA Cup, scoring on his debut against Southampton at Anfield.
His strike – Liverpool’s opener in a 3-0 victory – arrived just before half-time and announced his arrival on the big stage.
Reporter Samuel Seaman reveals:
“The Canaries are expected to add two wide men to their squad this summer.”
“One of the avenues they’re likely to use is the Premier League loan route”
“Koumas is a player liked by Norwich and fitting that profile, and plied his trade in the Championship last term with their divisional rivals Stoke.”
Meanwhile, it was reported in late March this year that Sheffield United admire the Welsh international, and have loan aspirations of their own for the 19-year-old.
