Speaking on the ‘Here We Go’ podcast, the journalist claimed that Liverpool had or have the chance to sign Arsenal defender Sokratis.

Liverpool have the chance to sign Sokratis from Arsenal, according to reports.



“Liverpool were looking for an opportunity and he was offered to Liverpool, but at the moment he’s not an option.



So while Liverpool may not have made any sure decision this month, we find it hard to believe they’d go in for Sokratis.



“He was offered to Liverpool too, you know that?” said Romano.

“But at the moment Liverpool have not decided whether they’re signing a centre-back or not, they’re still in the middle of the situation, so nothing has been decided.” Maybe as an absolute last resort?

The Reds are yet to entirely make a decision, however.
