Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has insisted the Eagles can’t afford to lose any more players this summer as Liverpool continue to monitor Marc Guehi.
The England international is out of contract next year, while the Reds are in the market for a new centre-back
It has been a challenging summer for Palace to date, as speculation regarding the future of their captain continues.
As things stand, they have been demoted to the Europa Conference League due UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules, despite initially qualifying for the Europa League by winning the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, enduring a quiet transfer window to date, the Bosman signing of Walter Benitez from PSV Eindhoven and £3m signing of Borna Sosa from Ajax have been their only new senior arrivals.

And while they are yet to lose any senior players, Arsenal are interested in star player Eberechi Eze, with fellow key man Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta also repeatedly linked with exits.
With the new Premier League season now little over two weeks’ away, Glasner has been left unsatisfied by Palace’s lack of summer business.
And airing his frustration at their lack of incomings, he insisted the club cannot afford to lose any of their outfield players - including Guehi.

“Even though all the players are still here, we haven’t made the most of the transfer window so far,” he told Kronen Zeitung.
“I was promised that we would be more active and bring in the new players earlier this year.
“As of now, I have 17 outfield players!
If that happens and we get four new ones on deadline day like last year, another false start is possible.”
Guehi had missed Palace’s latest friendly against Crawley Town, though Glasner revealed his skipper’s absence was down to injury rather than transfer speculation.
"Marc had a very small injury, but he will train with us on Sunday,” he said at the time.
"Eddie Nketiah, the same, so we don't want to take any risk."
Palace are next in action against Augsburg on Friday 1 August, before they face Liverpool at Wembley in the Community Shield on Sunday 10 August.
It is currently unclear whether the Reds will look to sign Guehi this summer during the final month of the transfer window or instead wait for his contract to expire next year.
Arne Slot recently defended his current centre-back options following his side’s pre-season loss to AC Milan, though acknowledged that Liverpool had not yet replaced Jarell Quansah following his £35m switch to Bayer Leverkusen.
“I’m looking to my left (Virgil van Dijk) and I don’t think we have a concern at centre-back!” he said.
