And, while Liverpool may have an idea of most deals that are coming in and out of Anfield today, there are still some question marks around the future of Guehi.
One of the main things that has been holding back the potential transfer of Guehi to Liverpool is that Palace haven’t been able to source a replacement for their captain.
However, over the last few hours, the Reds’ confidence on finalising a deal has risen, with the club now expecting Guehi to become a Liverpool player before the deadline strikes.

This is further backed up by a report from Sky Sports, which outlines that Oliver Glasner could now also be coming around to selling his star man.
“Oliver Glasner is keen for the club to complete a deal for the Serbia international defender Strahinja Pavlovic, although the latest we have been told is that negotiations are not currently progressing,” they wrote.
As mentioned, Guehi has long been linked with a potential move to Anfield.

Of course, the transfer window is ever-changing and stumbling blocks can always turn up, but with the way things have panned out for the Reds so far, it feels like it won’t be too long before we see the centre-back donning the Red of Liverpool.
