Liverpool have plenty of work left to do in the transfer window as they negotiate both incoming and outgoing deals.
The Reds have had a very good summer so far, bolstering the squad with some exciting new additions while also generating some decent funds through sales.
More money is likely to be brought into the coffers, with the expected sale of Darwin Nunez just one of those set to be finalised in the coming weeks.
Another player strongly linked with an exit this summer has been Harvey Elliott, who had a frustrating first year under Arne Slot.
Recent reports have suggested that the 22-year-old could stay in the Premier League, with West Ham considering a move for Elliott as well as Liverpool teammate Tyler Morton.
However, the Hammers are not the only side taking a long look at Liverpool’s No.
And German journalist Philipp Hinze has assessed how likely RB Leipzig are to jump into the race.

If Liverpool do not get the fee they want for Elliott this summer, there feels little need to sell him.
While he would clearly like to be playing more than he has been, the England U21 star is still a very, very useful member of the Liverpool squad.

Nevertheless, it has been claimed that Liverpool value Elliott at around £45m.
If someone puts that on the table, it may be hard to turn down.
Taking to X on Friday evening, Hinze reported that while the high asking price makes Leipzig ‘outsiders’ for Elliott, the chances of a move have at least ‘warmed up’ in the last weeks and days.

“Harvey Elliott is indeed on Leipzig’s shadow squad list, but as of today, a transfer is not particularly likely,” he says.
RB possibly with outsider chances.”
While plenty of supporters would still like to see Elliott stay at Anfield this summer, there is a growing feeling that his move is becoming an inevitability.
For Leipzig, it sounds as though they are at least in the picture, if not front and centre of it.
To be in a position to make a move for Elliott, it is likely the Bundesliga side will have to first move Xavi Simons on from the team.
Simons was linked with Liverpool before the summer began, but the Reds’ move for Florian Wirtz ended any talk of a transfer happening.
The Dutchman is a very similar player to Elliott, and if talk of a move to Arsenal or Chelsea comes to fruition, then perhaps this will start to become more possible for Leipzig.
