Liverpool have already undergone a lot of change this season, with Arne Slot looking to upgrade his ranks in any way possible.
However, with their title rivals all improving their ranks and making their teams far better, Liverpool will need to do the same if they don’t want to fall behind.

Many different players have been linked with an Anfield switch over the last couple of weeks, but with so much of the transfer window still to go, it’s anyone’s guess what could happen.
Jarell Quansah is set to be the second player to leave Liverpool this season, with Slot agreeing a £35million deal with Bayer Leverkusen.
One of the Dutchman’s main priorities at the moment will be to recoup some of the money they’ve spent on new arrivals this summer, but, since Quansah is the one who has left, Joe Gomez’s Liverpool future now seems set in stone.
That is, according to journalist Lewis Steele, who believes the Englishman will no longer be on the chopping block thanks to Quansah’s exit, which is good news for Liverpool, especially since he was dubbed “outstanding” by Jamie Carragher.
“It was obvious that one of him or Quansah would leave this summer,” he said to Anfield Index.

“Now that Quansah is definitely leaving [to join Bayer Leverkusen], it seems a little bit less likely that Gomez will leave as well, but I wouldn’t completely rule that out at this stage.”

At the moment, Liverpool have been one of the busiest teams in the transfer market, with that rather unlikely to change anytime soon.
Indeed, Milos Kerkez will be the next Anfield arrival, which solves one issue, but then it feels like the Reds could still do with a centre-back and a striker.
There have been several players linked with both positions since the start of June, but it’s unclear which of the two positions Slot will look to strengthen next.
However, unless some player sales are made soon, this could be the end of the Reds’ transfer window.
