Paris Saint-Germain has already swooped in with a hefty bid to secure the services of Liverpool-admired Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian sensation might be departing Napoli this month, potentially marking one of the standout transfers of the January window.

According to the Liverpool ECHO, there hasn't been any official approach from Liverpool to Napoli about Kvaratskhelia this month.



The French giant had set its sights on signing Kvaratskhelia last summer but was unable to seal the deal.

"Paris Saint-Germain started a concrete attack for Kvaratskhelia.

Romano further detailed how the bosses at Parc de Prince have been keen on Kvaratskhelia since as early as May last year.

"Before the start of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain presented a proposal to Napoli sent by the agent of Victor Osimhen, who was in an excellent relationship with Paris Saint-Germain.

Now it is more than six months so Kvaratskhelia has a shorter contract with Napoli, the salary situation is not fixed and so Paris Saint-Germain are back to the table but with different conditions."

According to the latest update, Napoli is demanding $82m (£67m/€80m) to release Kvaratskhelia from his contract in Italy, which is set to run until 2027

However, Napoli is hesitant about his permanent signing due to wage concerns, leading to ongoing discussions as January progresses.
