Paris Saint-Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi paid tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster by laying flowers at the memorial at Anfield on Monday night.
Al-Khelaifi was at Anfield ahead of PSG's Champions League round-of-16 second-leg tie against Liverpool on Tuesday night.
After the Ligue 1 giants had carried out their final preparations for Tuesday night's meeting, the 51-year-old made time to pay his respects to the 97 victims who lost their lives in at Hillsborough on April 15, 1989.
Al-Khelaifi took a bouquet of flowers to lay at the site of the memorial before pasuing for a moment on reflecting.
Writing on X, PSG shared pictures of Al-Khelaifi, and wrote: "Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi paid tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy at Anfield on the eve of our match against Liverpool." Previewing his Tuesday night's tie at Anfield, Slot said that his side needed to improve on their performance in the French capital last week.
"Some said we played poorly - I don't agree," said Slot.
"I think they [PSG] played tremendously well.
I don't think we have played a team this season which has combined that much quality with that much intensity, but I do think we can do better.

"I'm not saying we played poorly but we are a better team than we were last week.
We need to prove that."
Slot added: "I don't think anyone needs more motivation.
