Liverpool parade crash suspect Paul Doyle is set to appear in court today after he was charged with seven offences.
Doyle, 53, from Burghill Road in West Derby, is alleged to have been driving the Ford Galaxy during in the incident while fans were celebrating Liverpool FC's Premier League title win Monday.
Police said 79 people were injured when the car drove into supporters on Water Street at around 6pm, with seven people still in hospital when Merseyside Police revealed his charges yesterday.
Assistant Police Constable Simms said on Thursday: "We are extremely grateful for the ongoing cooperation of the public who have, and continue to, share their footage and witness accounts with detectives.
As always, my thoughts remain with victims and everyone impacted."

As Doyle prepares to appear in court, police have said they are seeking the answers to key questions surrounding Monday's incident.
Speaking at the press conference announcing the charges on Thursday, Assistant Chief Constable Sims said detectives are working "tirelessly" to seek the answers to these questions.

Doyle was finally identified on Thursday, as detectives were given more time to quiz him over the incident on Monday night.
Jenny Sims, the service's Assistant Chief Constable, said detectives are combing through a "huge volume" of both CCTV and mobile phone footage, while Sarah Hammond, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Crown Prosecution Service in the Mersey-Cheshire region, added footage from several other sources is also being considered.
