Luis Diaz and his Liverpool future as become a point of discussion both amongst the fanbase and in the media.
It seems every time a transfer window rolls round; Luis Diaz is linked to Barcelona and Saudi Arabia.
However, Paul Joyce has come out to reveal that reports of interest in the Colombian may have been premature.
Writing for the Times, Paul Joyce has confirmed that the Anfield club have not received any explicit expressions of interest for the 28-year-old – nor are they looking to move him on:
“Liverpool have received no expressions of interest in Luis Diaz and are not actively looking to sell the Colombia forward.”
“Liverpool are understood to be perplexed by the noise once again surrounding Diaz, who became a valuable player for Arne Slot with his ability to play through the middle and on the left flank, resulting in 17 goals in 50 appearances.”
