Manchester United legend Paul Scholes praised Liverpool for not standing still in the transfer market, despite winning the Premier League.

Scholes was responding to a remark made by Carragher, after the Liverpool legend said he did not agree with the idea of the Reds breaking the bank to sign Newcastle striker Isak.

"He [Alexander Isak] will be an amazing signing," Carragher said
"But from a fan’s point of view for myself, I don’t want Liverpool to spend £150 million on Isak.
"There’s something about Liverpool buying another striker [Hugo Ekitike], and he’s backup
