With the German set to leave the club at the end of the season after nearly nine years, Liverpool will feel very different come the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

Here, Liverpool.com takes a scan around the Premier League and across the continent to see what's going on at Liverpool's rivals, including Barcelona potentially selling one of its diamonds, and Newcastle looking to Fulham for a defender.

Barcelona could sell Pedri

Barcelona midfielder Pedri was once seen as one of the club's most-valuable players, but a report states that's no longer the case.

Barca would listen to offers in the region of $107m (£85m/€100m) for Pedri, yet considering his injury record over the past couple of years, it remains to be seen who would present such an offer.

Liverpool.com says: Pedri was once regarded as one of the brightest midfielders in Europe, but such has been his injury problems as of late he's retreated from view in the minds of fans

With Barcelona struggling financially, a deal could be done this summer, but selling a young talent like Pedri wouldn't go over well with the fan base.

Adarabioyo hasn't been a regular starter for Fulham this season, but has made 20 appearances in the Premier League, and has had more of a run in the first team in the second half of the campaign

The 26-year-old's contract expires this summer, and he has been linked with Liverpool, although the Mail suggests he is leaning toward a move to Newcastle.

Liverpool.com says: A move up north to Newcastle could be a good move for Adarabioyo, and give him the chance to progress in his career and play in European competition next season, granted Newcastle finish in the Europa League spot
