Pedro Neto has paid an emotional tribute to Diogo Jota.
The Liverpool striker and his brother Andre Silva died on Thursday (July 3) after a tyre blew out on their car, resulting in a crash when attempting to overtake on the A52, known as the Palacios de Sanabria, according to local police.
The bodies of both footballers were returned to their native Portugal on Thursday evening ahead of a wake on Friday and then a funeral service at Igreja Matriz de Gondomar (the Mother Church of Gondomar) today.
There was a large Liverpool contingent at the service on Saturday morning, with a number of Jota's team-mates making the trip to Portugal.
Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo made the journey from America to the 28-year-old's hometown of Gondomar hours after Al-Hilal's exit from the Club World Cup at the hands of Fluminense.
