Manchester City will welcome both Rodri and Phil Foden back from injury this weekend, Pep Guardiola has confirmed ahead of his side taking on Spurs in the Premier League in Saturday's early kick-off.

Last weekend, Manchester City hammered Wolves 4-0 a day after Liverpool had beaten Bournemouth 4-2.



Arsenal, the other likely title challenger, beat Manchester United 1-0, while Chelsea could only manage a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace.

Guardiola said Rodri and Foden could have played last weekend but they were not in rhythm after injuries disrupted the end of their pre-season.

"I love Manchester — it is my home now — and I love the Manchester City fans.

"When I think about the trophies we have won and the way we have played our football during my time here, I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else."

Hugo Viana, City's director of football, said Dias is "a leader in the dressing room and on the pitch".

Defender Rico Lewis, however, is thought to be close to signing a new five-year deal.
