Pep Lijnders has reportedly offered himself to a new club ahead of his imminent departure at the end of the season.

It is set to be a summer of change at Liverpool, with not only Jurgen Klopp bidding farewell to Anfield but many of his staff members too.

The Anfield club have already communicated that assistant managers Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz will bid farewell to Anfield at the end of the season.

Elite development coach Vitor Matos and Klopp confidant will also vacate his position at the end of the season.

Liverpool’s head of recovery and performance Andreas Schlumberger is likewise set to depart at the end of the season.

Although Schlumberger’s contract with Liverpool was set to expire in the summer of 2025, he has agreed to leave the team in May.

Further backroom exits are expected to be confirmed in the coming months.

Lijnders is believed keen to pursue his own career in management and has already been linked to the job at Ajax Amsterdam for next season.

However, it is believed that the Dutchman is one of many candidates being examined by Ajax, and that it is not a guarantee that he gets the job for next season.

Hence, a slightly surprising report has emerged today regarding Liverpool’s assistant manager.

Pep Lijnders offers himself to Turkish giants Be?ikta?

Pep Lijnders has reportedly offered his services as a manager to Turkish giants Be?ikta? ahead of next season.

This is according to mainstream Turkish newspaper Sabah (via Sport Witness), who claim that the Be?ikta? executives have already started with their evaluations of the Dutchman.

Former Portugal manager Fernando Santos was recently relieved of his duties as manager of the Turkish outfit just three months into the job.

Hence, Be?ikta? need a new manager ahead of next season with Serdar Topraktepe filling in as an interim until then.

Several names have been proposed to President Hasan Arat and the club’s management, with the most recent being Lijnders.

He intends to kick off his managerial journey after departing from the Reds and has expressed his interest to the club?

It has even been suggested that he might bring along some Liverpool staff members with him.

Besiktas has not taken any action on the proposal yet and is currently assessing the option before making any decisions on their next steps.
