Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has provided potential reasons why Sadio Mane would have wanted to leave the club.

"I think that nearly all the Liverpool fans wish him well.



"I think there’s very few times when a player leaves a club in a perfect storm,” Murphy told .

The former Liverpool midfielder went on to say how he thinks Reds fans will remember the 30-year-old.

"Some people might question why you’d want to leave Liverpool, but there are always reasons why players want to leave clubs.
