Manchester City's latest match winner Phil Foden has sent out a Premier League title warning to Liverpool, after his side's 1-0 victory over Brighton.
Although Foden admitted he thinks Man City have reached their top gear again, he also thinks they can offer even more in the title race at the same time.
The 20-year-old couldn't hide his desire when it came to the Premier League title, despite Pep Guardiola's recent feelings on all talk being about rivals Liverpool and Manchester United recently.
"We just want to keep going with this form and pushing to win the Premier League, hopefully."
Foden is now Man City's top scorer in all competitions this season with eight, with half of those coming in the league while Mohamed Salah still leads the Golden Boot race with 13.
The result was latest in an upturn of form for Guardiola's side, who have won their last four Premier League games, moving up to third and one point behind Liverpool.
City were unable to add to their slender advantage with Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan all missing big chances with Silva also hitting the woodwork as Graham Potter's side stood impressively resolute after going behind.
