Man City forward Erling Haaland shared a glimpse from the club’s training ground as preparations continue for their clash with Tottenham.

Pep Guardiola’s side opened the new season in emphatic style, as Man City cruised to a 4-0 win over Wolves at Molineux.

New signings Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki impressed on their debuts, both finding the scoresheet, while Haaland picked up where he left off last season by netting a brace.

City go into the campaign looking to bounce back after their first trophyless season since Guardiola’s debut year in 2016–17.

Their first home fixture at the Etihad comes against Tottenham on 23 August, a match that already carries plenty of intrigue.

Haaland has now given supporters a snapshot of the team’s latest training session as Man City complete their final preparations ahead of the weekend.

Haaland shared multiple images from Manchester City’s latest training session as the squad prepare to return to the Etihad for their first home game of the season.

The striker captioned his post: “Prepping for our first home game of the season” and saw reactions from several teammates, with Reijnders, Rico Lewis and Phil Foden among those to like the update.

Since his arrival in 2022, Haaland’s influence has only grown under Pep Guardiola.

Now one of the club’s vice-captains, the Norwegian continues to shoulder responsibility at the Etihad.

Despite City enduring their first trophyless campaign in years, he still hit 31 goals across competitions and Haaland shone at the Club World Cup, scoring three times at the summer tournament, despite their early exit.

His commitment to the club’s long-term project remains clear, as Haaland signed a nine-year contract last season to underline his intention to be central to City’s rebuild.

While sharing his appreciation to his teammates message, Lewis’ future seemed to be uncertain at Man City in recent days with Nottingham Forest’s interest.

City had been in talks with the 20-year-old this summer but had not come to an agreement, leaving speculation to fuel, but it seems as if the hierarchy have stepped up talks in recent days.
