Phil Foden has issued a warm goodbye to Jack Grealish after the winger joined Everton on a season-long loan.
Following much speculation throughout the course of the summer, Grealish has finally joined Everton as he bids to play more football after being practically exiled by Pep Guardiola.
The 29-year-old spent four seasons at the Etihad, winning every trophy imaginable, yet last campaign saw the Englishman’s minutes whittled down.
The move now sees the England international link up with David Moyes, who will look to raise Grealish’s levels like he did with Jesse Lingard at West Ham.
Unsurprisingly, the Aston Villa academy graduate built up some incredible friendships during his time at City with some of the player sending him their best wishes as he plays next season away from Manchester.
Taking to Instagram stories (12 August), long-term teammate Foden sent his best regards to his fellow countrymen as he embarks on a new journey.

Football Insider verdict
The exit of the 29-year-old sees another creative outlet vacate the City squad after Kevin De Bruyne left to join Napoli earlier in the summer.
This sees the number 47 with a greater weight on his shoulder to perform and provide the goods in attack for Guardiola next year.
The England international massively underwhelmed last campaign, scoring 17 goals fewer in all competitions compared to the 2023-24 heights.

His Spanish tactician will be hoping the City academy graduate can re-find his previous stunning form after practically playing as a ghost in the 2024-25 season.
Losing the Premier League title to Liverpool will be a bitter pill to swallow for the Cityzens and they must bounce backt o prevent the Reds running away with domestic dominance.
Onus will be on Foden to be the spearhead of the blue half of Manchester’s attack, go missing again and he may be the next name on the chopping block for the former Barcelona manager.
