Southampton arrive off the back of a 3-0 win over Norwich City in the previous rounds, having earlier beaten Northampton Town 1-0 to reach this stage.
Liverpool have won each of the last eight matches against Southampton at Anfield across all competitions, with the last draw being a goalless stalemate in May 2017.

Williams has not played for the club since 2023, and could yet make the matchday squad ahead of Tuesday.
It will also be a great opportunity to give minutes to some of the senior players like Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo, and Federico Chiesa.
With that in mind, our predicted Liverpool side is:
Mamardashvili; Frimpong, Leoni, Gomez, Robertson; Nyoni, Endo; Ngumoha, Jones, Chiesa; Isak
