Everton make two changes from the superb Merseyside derby win over Liverpool on Wednesday, with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin not involved.

He is replaced in the starting line-up by Youssef Chermiti, while Ashley Young comes in for Vitalii Mykolenko at left-back after the Ukraine international limped out in midweek with an ankle injury.

Brentford also make two changes after their 5-1 thumping of Luton last weekend.

A significant one sees the return of striker Ivan Toney following a hip injury, while Christian Norgaard also comes in to skipper the side.

Mikkel Damsgaard and Keane Lewis-Potter both drop to the bench.
