There has been a lot of debate around the merits - or otherwise - of Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final win over Coventry on Sunday.

Manager Erik ten Hag addresses the United fans directly in his programme notes tonight.

"This season has thrown a lot of challenges at us, whether during games or with the number of injuries we have had to deal with," he says.

"But we have to be able to deal with setbacks.

"If you are comfortably in control of a game, managing it well and then the opposition scores from nowhere, you have to be able to keep calm and continue doing what you were doing before.

"We failed to do that during the last part of Sunday's game and we cannot make excuses for it."
