THE GUNNERS ARE LEVEL!!
Alexander-Arnold was booed on his first touch, and then he gives away possession - he then played goalscorer Merino onside.
The Spaniard was alive to stoop home and head past Alisson after the Liverpool goalkeeper had touched Odegaard's strike onto the post.
Premier League writers couldn't come up with such a script!
Gary Neville told Sky Sports: "What a response in the second half from Mikel Arteta's men.
"He's being played on by Liverpool's right-back.
"Merino runs late.
Arsenal, out of nowhere, it's a brilliant second half from them."

Arsenal fans have been fuming at Liverpool supporters over a controversial banner of Mikel Arteta.
‘Always the bridesmaid, never the Bride’ was a banner in the Kop end before kick-off, with Arteta holding a bouquet while wearing a dress.
One fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "That Arteta bridesmaid banner is cringe ngl."
Another said: "The Arteta banner is classless, I can’t lie - Do you think we’d be mocking up Pep or Slot as Humpty Dumpty or some other bald egg if we won the league?"
A third added: "Nah that Arteta banner is a foul lmao if you think I’m supporting stomping on a bleeding guy on the floor you’re right."

Within two minutes of the restart, Martinelli guides a header into the far post.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis appeared to argue with Nuno Espirito Santo on the pitch moments after the full-time whistle against Leicester.
Gary Neville was dismayed by the incident and said: "Scandalous from that Forest owner.
"Nuno should go and negotiate his exit tonight with him!
The Forest fans, players and manager do not deserve that."

THE REDS STRIKE FIRST!!
Huge relief from Gakpo, who had wasted a huge opportunity to give the home side the lead moments earlier.
A long-ball from Robertson had released the Dutchman through on goal over the top, and a simple square for Salah looked to be 1-0.
However, Gakpo selfishly tried to go alone and was crowded out by the Arsenal backline, but the danger wasn't fully dealt with.
Robertson recycles play and drills in a near-post cross for Gakpo to plant a header past Raya.
Robertson's assist is his first of the season in the Premier League, with what was the 39th different chance he's created.
He last registered an assist against Sheffield United last April, 402 days ago.

LUIS DIAZ IS DENIED BY DAVID RAYA!
Mohamed Salah seems destined to get an assist that would put him on the cusp of Thierry Henry's record, but somehow Diaz doesn't score.
It's a lovely ball from the outside of Curtis Jones' boot to find Salah in the box, and the Egyptian unselfishly tees up his teammate.
Diaz has time to steady himself almost in the six-yard box but somehow can't beat a diving Raya.

BUKAYO SAKA MISSES A HUGE OPPORTUNITY!
It's a well-worked free-kick routine that catches out the home side, as the majority of Arsenal players all stand offside in the book.
Liverpool attempt to spring the trap by rushing out early, but Saka arrives from deep as Odegaard clips a cross to the back post.
It's timed so Saka is onside and unmarked at the back post, but he rolls his first-time half volley wide of the far post.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is on the pitch at full-time after his side are held to a 2-2 draw by relegated Leicester.
It looks like he's saying a few choice words to Nuno Espirito Santo - the home fans respond by singing their manager's name.
Meanwhile, it's now nine Premier League defeats at home for United this season.
That hasn't happened since 1962.
West Ham arrived without a win in eight matches, but Graham Potter claims a massive scalp to leapfrog the Red Devils in the table.
And finally, it's Premier League defeat number 20 of the season for Spurs as they fall to just above the three relegated clubs.

THIRD TIME LUCKY!
Minutes earlier, Maxence Lacroix has the ball in the back of the net, but his goal was chalked off for flicking the arm of Marc Guehi.
Jean-Philippe Mateta, the man responsible for the first disallowed goal, engineers this one after releasing Daniel Munoz.
He squares it for Eze to roll into an empty net.
VAR has another look to see if there's any reason to disallow a third Palace goal, but eventually the visiting fans are allowed to celebrate.
